Jessica Sanchez, Mos Wanted, Manny Pacquiao— The pride of modern day Filipinos. So close, yet so far. They all worked hard and had loads of support from all races. We all believed they would make it. But sadly they didn’t and we took the fall with them. Didn’t even try to hide our disappointment by just blowing it off and moving on. No. We ranted and cried and continued to love them. They’re role models to everyone and show that the loser can still be the favorite. I’m so proud to be Filipino.
